Taking Overalls from the Farm to Fashion + Insta Moments

This is me toasting the start to my summer holiday with a “Summer Babe” gin cocktail on the rooftop bar of The Wythe Hotel in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Can’t beat the view and the feeling of freedom at the start of an adventure.

From my airplane seat (where I got a bit stir crazy during our two hour delay on the landing strip) to the Wythe, I based my travel look around my slightly “destroyed” overalls. Not to be confused with a Green Acres gal (read Natalie Joos “I’m Not a Farm Girl” overalls post here) , I chose to “elevate” my bibs with a crisp tailored white Theory blazer, my Ellen Arthur lariat (from Ziabird) and my Rag & Bone boots (from Beanie + Cecil).

Besides sharing #whatimwearing to kick-start my New England adventure, here are a few other recent favorite Insta-moments.
