From a practical side, this trend is a bonus for comfort seekers since the extra padding is a great way to break in a new pair of sky-scraping stilettos or fill the space on a pair of heels that are a tad too big. Now, for the hard part – finding the perfect pairing… here’s some tips:
1) Lightweight pointelle ankle socks with a ruffle embellishment are fun and flirty for the summer but you don’t want to go gaga for girly. Pair these socks with a more structural shoe – like a t-strap and a feminine frock with minimal embellishment.
