Bargain Box Fundraiser Luncheon

November 20

The Bargain Box hosted their annual fundraiser featuring Southern writer Clyde Edgerton,
author of five New York Times Notable books, who enchanted the crowd
with readings from his books, singing, banjo-playing and as the grand
finale, taking a turn on the red carpet modeling a red le smoking

jacket (aka Hugh Hefner). Inspired by Clyde’s literary prowess, Ziabird owner Lynn Manock produced the fashion show using clothing and accessories from The Bargain Box, as well as The Box Office,
Bargain Box’s new high-end offering. Pre and post show, a good-hearted
shopping frenzy ensued as guests walked away with fur capes, silk
scarves, handworked leather vests, Coach bags and one-of-a-kind jewelry
at bargain prices.
