The Deco Ball is coming to Wilmington!
Thursday October 13th at Wrightsville Manor
(Graphic Art by Kristen Martinez)

There’s a guy named Matthew about to come for a visit. Ya hear? Till he rings your bell, thought I’d give you something pretty to look at.

The Deco Ball team has been working overtime to bring you an unforgettable evening next Thursday. There may not be a “next time.” All you gotta do is say “Yes” and show up. And, it’s the perfect cure for cabin fever, right? (following Hurricane Matthew)

There are only 40 VIP tickets available for an elegant picnic dinner with reserved seating in a secluded garden (6-7pm). It would help immensely to have a head count before Wednesday so for the love of Fitzgerald, please go ahead and get your ticket — http://stylegirljessjames.com/the-deco-ball/

And if you need help styling your deco look, I will be at the Style Girl Vintage showroom (21 Market Street, 2nd floor) this Sunday Noon-3pm and at A Second Time Around’s sneak peek Deco Ball shopping soiree Monday 6-9pm at their new location – A Vintage Vagabond at 3518 Wrightsville Avenue. More details below.

And guys, just rent a tux. One and done! Add some vintage cufflinks or a top hat if you have one. Now, go pour yourself a Hurricane Cocktail (originated at Pat O’ Brien’s Bar in New Orleans in the 1940’s):

2 ounces light rum
2 ounces dark rum
2 ounces passion fruit juice
1 ounce orange juice
Juice of half a lime
1 Tablespoon simple syrup
1 Tablespoon grenadine
Orange slice and cherry for garnish

Cheers to Matty taking it easy on us!
Stay safe, dear friends.
xo
