Style Girl *FASHION FIX* – Alice + Olivia Tour Comes to Wilmington

A+O style crew at Bonnaroo

There’s no better time than summer for a spontaneous road trip. Bikinis and
Bonnaroo. Nashville and Not-So-New Cowboy Boots. Miami and
Makeovers.  Airstream and Alice + Olivia. Why not?

That was the thinking behind Alice + Olivia’s summer Makeover Madness tour
starring head designer and founder Stacey Bendet and her partners in
style including stylists, photographers and muses cruising the
Southeast in a customized retro Airstream. Beginning in Tennessee June
8th at Bonnaroo, the A+O mobile will hit a dozen locations throughout
the Southeast before landing in Wilmington next Friday, June 25th.

A+O Designer Stacey Bendet

Monkee’s, which carries Alice + Olivia exclusively, is hosting a welcoming party at Lumina Station complete with a big white tent styled by Paysage, red carpet glamour, yummy bites and libations from 19 Hundred, and a high style runway show styled by “Style Girl” Jess James and Shannon Dunne of James + Dunne Styling, hair by Lavish and makeup by Blush.

Beyonce (with Jay Z) wearing an Alice + Olivia jacket

Alice + Olivia, which began eight years ago with Stacey creating the perfect
pair of pants (and coining her nickname “Stacey pants”), has become a
go-to brand for local girls, as well as girls with the names Beyonce,
Gwyneth, and Angelina.

With the tour, Stacey and the gang are looking to bring A+O style to women
across the country with impromptu photo shoots, makeovers and style
interventions for women in need of the perfect honeymoon dress to flood
victims in Nashville who lost their entire wardrobes. “We’re just
trying to bring some happiness in people’s lives across the country,”
Stacey said in a recent interview with MTV.

finale of the fashion show Friday night.
